Celebrities including Sir Sir Andy Murray, Ricky Gervais, Fearne Cotton, Dame Dame Judi Dench, Lucy Watson, Paloma Faith, Laura Whitmore, Martin Clunes, Melanie C and Sue Perkins have teamed up with charities including Humane Society International UK, the RSPCA, PETA, Animal Aid, and Brian May's SAVE ME TRUST, to support the #FurFreeBritain campaign.

Each personality has signed a letter to Theresa May, urging the PM to introduce a nationwide ban on animal fur imports, and a spokesperson for the campaign commented 'We are delighted that so many of the UK's best-loved celebrities have spoken out in favour of a Fur Free Britain. Their words echo the calls from the vast majority of the British public who want to see an end to animal fur being imported onto our shores'.
